Visit Mansfield's Paranormal Documentary Wins Big at the Viddy Awards

VISIT MANSFIELD'S PARANORMAL DOCUMENTARY WINS BIG AT VIDDY AWARDS

Visit Mansfield is excited to announce that its short documentary "The Spirits of Wright House" has won a Gold Level Award at the 2022 Viddy Awards.

The Viddy Awards, formerly the Videographer Awards, are one of the most coveted awards in the video industry. Since 1994, thousands of production and communication professionals have entered their best and most creative work. The goal of the Viddy Awards is to identify and recognize video artisans who excel in the scope of their own environment. Winners range from network news operations to local cable access, from large production companies to freelancers, and from international advertising agencies to student producers.

Only three other projects received as high a designation as Visit Mansfield in the documentary category.

"The Spirits of Wright House" was produced as a part of the city's annual Haunted Mansfield Halloween events and combines a historical documentary of one of Mansfield's most famous homes with a paranormal investigation. The documentary is sure to educate viewers and give them goosebumps at the same time.

"Creating these documentaries is one of the most fun things we do around here," said Tim Roberts, Visit Mansfield's Marketing & Promotions Manager and producer of the documentary. "Not only is the production process a thrilling experience, but the finished product highlights Mansfield as a tourist destination for paranormal enthusiasts."

"The Spirits of Wright House" is the third paranormal documentary released by Visit Mansfield, following "Ghosts of the Farr Best" and "Mysteries of the Man House".

In addition to Visit Mansfield, local production company Grizzly Man Media assisted in the filming of the documentary.
