About SGT Bishop Evans
SGT Bishop Evans was a graduate of Mansfield High and a member of the JROTC squad. In 2022 he gave his life in the line of duty as a member of the Texas National Guard, when he dove into the Rio Grande to rescue drowning migrants. This event is held in honor of our hometown hero.
